ICC (Interstate Connecting Components, Inc.) has partnered with Murphy Assistants (MA) to stage two recent successful events, our National Sales Meeting and our Annual Family Day and Open House.

MA came highly recommended from one of our vendors and one of our trade groups.

For the three-day ICC National Sales Meeting, MA worked closely with ICC management to develop a budget, theme, and overall meeting scope. Once the conceptual work was done, MA insured that all elements of the session infrastructure were sourced, contracted, staffed, and coordinated - economically and on time. These elements included travel and lodging arrangements, meals (catered and outside), media equipment and presentations, handouts, awards and gifts, and all of the million details that might otherwise have fallen into the cracks.

MA’s efforts freed ICC’s management team to concentrate on developing meeting content and to manage the day-to-day business of the company during the weeks leading up to the meeting. 

The result?...the most productive, seamless, jam-packed sales meeting we have ever had. The feedback from the sales force (from MA’s formal survey) regarding all phases of the event was very positive, and ICC’s management felt the ROI was excellent.

After that success, ICC asked MA to organize our Annual Family Day, a celebration for over two hundred employees and family members. Again, MA worked with ICC management to develop a scope and budget. Then MA insured that every detail was covered: BBQ and dessert catering, tents, chairs and tables, entertainment, give-aways and prizes. MA staffed the registration table and rides, and – with ICC staff – insured the timely setup and teardown of the entire event.

MA’s contributions insured that all attendees had a great time and that ICC managers enjoyed the event along with the rest of the staff. The food was tasty, the games were fun…and MA even arranged for a sunny day for us. Having MA do all the behind-the-scenes work meant fewer distractions for ICC management. Again, the ROI was easily justified.

For both assignments, the Murphy Assistants team offered dozens of helpful suggestions based on their broad event planning experience. Michelle and her colleagues were a sort of “event concierge” for us, finding solutions for virtually every question that came up. 

The cost was reasonable, certainly less than had we used our own staff to plan these occasions.

Murphy Assistants proved to be an indispensable resource for both events.
